Your Role as Senior Administrator
The Senior Administrator provides high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Employee and Industrial Relations team. This role is key to managing competing priorities, supporting team success, and enabling the achievement of organisational objectives through strong initiative, organisation, and interpersonal capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting change management initiatives and continuous improvement across People & Culture and the wider organisation.
- Providing administrative support for Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining, including coordinating meetings, agendas, and minutes.
- Assisting with EA documentation, updates, communications, and ballot processes.
- Managing team administration, including prioritising correspondence, tracking actions, and briefing the General Manager on urgent matters.
- Preparing accurate reports, correspondence, and documentation to support business operations.
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, events, and travel, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships while providing project support, research, and general assistance to the General Manager.
This is a fixed term position until 11/06/2027. It is also a part-time role consisting of 22.8 hours per week.

What We’re Looking For
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate key messages and influence using written and verbal presentation.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong organisational abilities, including demonstrated initiative, effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy office environment.
- Experience providing strategic executive support to Senior Executives.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion and deal effectively with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Strong technical competence in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Essential Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
