Casual Relief Cleaners – School Sites | Northern Suburbs, Brisbane

Start Date: ASAP

• Part Time + Casual Relief | Ashgrove area
• Casual Relief | Keperra/Mitchelton area
• Casual Relief | Toowong/Fig Tree Pocket area

We are looking for reliable, flexible cleaners to join our Casual Relief Pool across three school sites in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs.

These are casual, as-needed roles — you will be contacted to fill shifts on short notice when our regular staff are unavailable. You must be available and willing to step in at last minute, so flexible availability across the week is essential.

This is a professional, community-focused environment where you'll help maintain clean, safe and welcoming spaces for students, staff and visitors.

Areas you'll maintain include

• Classrooms and office spaces
• Staff rooms and kitchen areas
• Amenities and bathrooms
• Hallways, entryways and common areas
• Outdoor areas as required

Daily duties may include

• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Cleaning amenities and shared spaces
• Rubbish removal and restocking consumables
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces
• Maintaining cleanliness standards across the site

Part Time Shift (Ashgrove site): Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Casual Relief Shifts (all sites): As needed — short notice and last-minute availability required

Requirements

• Flexible availability — must be able to accept last-minute shift requests
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience
• School cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
• Blue Card (required)
• Police Check required (or willing to obtain)
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
