Container Forklift Operator

Kent Removals & Storage is looking for an experienced Container Forklift Operator to join our busy operations team.

If you've got solid experience moving and stacking loaded shipping containers and take pride in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving warehouse and yard environment where you'll play a key part in keeping freight, storage and relocation operations running on schedule.

About The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Operating heavy container forklifts to move, stack and position loaded shipping containers
• Loading and unloading containers and modules safely and efficiently
• Working closely with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily schedules
• Completing equipment pre-start inspections and reporting maintenance issues
• Maintaining safe work practices and yard housekeeping standards
• Using warehouse systems to track container locations and movements

What We're Looking For

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating container forklifts
• Experience stacking and handling loaded shipping containers
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
