More About What You’ll Do

Reporting to the DC Manager, the Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Business Solutions department. Ensuring customer-specific requirements are completed accurately, safely, and on time.

This includes managing value-added services such as furniture assembly, customisation, kitting, relabelling, project work, and special customer requests while maintaining high standards of service, productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily Business Solutions operations, ensuring all customer requirements are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Effectively allocate labour and resources to meet operational priorities, project deadlines, and service expectations.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards, proactively taking corrective action where required.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
  • Conduct regular team huddles, coaching sessions, and performance discussions to build capability and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, service delivery, and cost outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and clear communication of operational performance, risks, and customer commitments.

More About You

  • Current valid Drivers Licence required
  • Current valid Forklift Licence required
  • Experience in furniture assembly, kitting & customisation
  • Proven experience leading teams within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environments.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams, supported by strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices
