Selective school exam Home tutor

Hi,

I’m looking for a dedicated Selective Exam tutor for my younger brother, who is currently in Year 4. He is above average in maths and performs well in class, but he needs support to further strengthen his Reading, Thinking Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, and Writing. His English is steadily improving, and he would benefit from guidance in learning how to articulate his ideas more clearly and confidently. Because his mind tends to wander during lessons, we are specifically seeking an in‑person tutor who can keep him engaged and focused.

The ideal tutor is someone who comes prepared with structured material and can also create or source resources tailored to his needs, not just worksheets for the sake of it. We’re looking for someone who can assign meaningful homework that targets his weaknesses and builds his strengths. Most importantly, we want a tutor who can genuinely connect with him, motivate him, and make learning enjoyable so he stays consistent and confident in his progress.
