Senior Analyst - Investor Relations
Bendigo Bank
Closing date: 14 June 2026
We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.
It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Investor Relations to join our Finance Division. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your skillset and extend your network in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.
The Investor Relations team is a close-knit, high-performing small team that stays in constant communication, collaborating seamlessly. We anchor everything we do to executing the IR Strategy, taking charge of all shareholder and external market communication and engagement. As the face of the company to our shareholders, we also channel key market insights back to the Executive, C-suite, and the Board.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be pivotal in enhancing our data analysis and reporting capabilities. We are looking for a specialist who can simplify, automate, and analyse information to deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will involve managing and coordinating deliverables that are high-profile, delivering market updates, managing financial consensus models, briefing senior leaders on market sentiment, and improving our processes through the use of AI.
This is a permanent full-time position which can be located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Ballarat, Brisbane, or Sydney.
We offer flexible work options that put our people first, working in a hybrid model with a minimum local Head Office attendance requirement determined by your Leader, to find a rhythm that works best for you and your team. We believe that coming into the office some of the time is the best way to learn, stay connected and collaborate effectively, especially for key activities like team days, 1:1s, and town halls.
Please note that the cadence of this role requires specific times outside of normal hours during peak periods (e.g., half-year and full year announcements). This is equally balanced with time in lieu and keeping regular hours throughout the rest of the year.
What you’ll bring to the role
- A true team player mindset—because we are a small, collaborative team, we rely on everyone to step up, play their role, and support each other.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and business reports.
- Proven ability to extract key messages from complex information and present them clearly and concisely.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling and data analysis, along with strong PowerPoint skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage logistics for events like result webcasts and market roadshows.
- A keen interest in financial markets and an understanding of the banking regulatory environment.
- The capability to build influential relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of AI capabilities and their application in automating and accelerating processes.
Advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be highly advantageous
