You’ll make an impact by

  • Providing technical input in relevant mechanical field
  • Providing mechanical data for asset management purpose
  • Providing beneficial and cost-efficient services in relation to refurbishment, repair and maintenance of water supply and sewerage and associated assets as per Councils plans and specification
  • Testing and commissioning new installation of mechanical equipment
  • Assisting in the preparation of maintenance or new works contracts for Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic works
  • Assisting in updates of the asset database for all maintenance replacement and refurbishment of water and sewer mechanical and electrical equipment

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade (fitting)

  • Demonstrated trade experience in the trade, both in machining and troubleshooting/diagnosis for plant maintenance and the subsequent work required.

  • Basic computer skills

  • MR Drivers licence

We would also love you to have:

  • Post trade experience in continuous process industry

  • Experience in the maintenance of equipment related to water filtration and sewerage treatment processes.

  • Experience in troubleshooting Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $78,691 to $91,453 including market allowance.
