Position Profile: The North Metropolitan Health Service are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Program Development team for the Smiling Starts Early Childhood Dental Program.
Smiling Starts is a statewide oral health care program for children under the age of 5 across Western Australia. The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) leads the development and delivery of the program through Dental Health Services (DHS), in partnership with the Office of the Chief Dental Officer (OCDO), WA Country Health Service (WACHS), Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) and the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA).
The successful applicant will work collaboratively to support and assist with project workstreams, activities, and tasks related to the development and delivery of Smiling Starts. In this position you will undertake a range of key administrative tasks including preparation of project governance documentation and reporting and provide support to the Director and other team members.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
