Job Summary

The Market Executive plays a key role in supporting the growth and operational success of Traveloka’s accommodation portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsible for driving onboarding, ensuring property readiness, and supporting day-to-day commercial execution in the local market.

Working closely with Market Managers and cross-functional teams, the Market Executive acts as a local point of contact for partners, ensuring smooth activation and ongoing commercial alignment with platform standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role is heavily focused on onboarding and commercial execution. Market Executives are responsible for bringing new properties live end-to-end, ensuring all elements are correctly configured across rates, availability, and content. This includes working directly with partners to guide them through the onboarding process and troubleshooting any blockers to go-live.
  • They also support the wider commercial function by identifying and addressing gaps in property setup that may impact performance. This can include flagging pricing issues, content gaps, or availability inconsistencies, and escalating where needed.
  • From a partner perspective, the Market Executive maintains day-to-day communication with properties, acting as a reliable local contact. They support with operational queries, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure partners are set up for success on the platform.
  • The role also contributes to broader market initiatives by supporting Market Managers with portfolio checks, onboarding pipelines, and ensuring newly signed properties are activated in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from reputable university. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proven follow up/persistence when facing challenging situations.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a proven track record to execute in ambiguous environments.
  • Organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details.
  • Relationship builder; earn the confidence of others.
  • Bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual supports.
  • Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively; actively listen when spoken/presented to.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels.
  • A quick learner to absorb new knowledge in the fast-changing and dynamic industry, and synthesize learnings into strategic growth levers that generate tangible business impacts.
