Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your domain expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work on your own terms while contributing to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to stress-test AI performance
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI-generated outputs including code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
- Improve AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic and provide structured, actionable feedback to help models think more accurately about engineering problems
- Work Asynchronously — Complete tasks independently on your own schedule with no mandatory meetings or fixed hours
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or embedded systems
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely in written English
- Detail-oriented with a high level of precision when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
- Background spanning multiple electrical engineering subfields
Why Join Us
