If yes, we’d love to hear from you! Urban Climb’s HR team is looking for a HR Administrator. This is a part time role (approximately 20 hours per week) and designed to be an entry level opportunity to start a career in HR. This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the HR Manager and based in our Milton office.

In this role, you’ll learn the ins and out of our payroll system (Tanda) to support great data processes. It’s also focused on recruitment, where you will help to bring the right people in to join the Urban Climb team.

Purpose

The Human Resources (HR) Administrator position is focused on providing administrative HR support and managing HR documents. This includes sending employment contracts, maintaining accurate data and assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding. The role will also support the recruitment of team members, including attending interviews and completing reference checks. It would suit someone who is looking to start a career in Human Resources.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support HR administration processes, including data entry and maintenance of HR records in our Payroll System (Tanda) and Sharepoint;
  • Send HR documentation including employment contracts, letters and Position Descriptions;
  • Monitor the HR email inbox and respond to administrative enquiries, including changes to pay or employment details;
  • Support compliance including managing, tracking and monitoring qualifications and license records and expiry dates;
  • Support with recruitment interviews and reference checks as required;
  • Ensure employee onboarding and offboarding tasks are completed;
  • Ensure that HR documentation and administrative processes are compliant with Urban Climb policies and procedures, and relevant legislation;
  • Provide advice on Urban Climb policies and procedures;
  • Provide support on HR related projects as required.

There is also the potential for the successful applicant to take on responsibilities as a point of contact for WorkCover claims.

Measurable Outcomes

  • Ensure all employee files are up to date in Tanda and Sharepoint
  • All general requests or queries are actioned in a timely manner; ideally within 24 hours and no longer than 48 hours of turnaround time
  • Ensure all onboarding and offboarding checklists are completed as scheduled.

Skills and Requirements

  • Qualifications in HR, Business, or working towards
  • At least one year’s experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Digital literacy and experience in MS office
  • Strong interpersonal and (written and verbal) communication skills, with high levels of discretion and confidentiality
  • Blue Card/Working with Children Check
