What you will do as the Senior Systems Analyst
As a Senior Systems Analyst in the Architecture & Cyber Security team, you will play a key role in translating business needs into system requirements and solution designs that align with our target state architecture. Reporting to the Architecture Lead, you will work across multiple domains to ensure that business objectives are accurately captured, validated, and implemented in a way that supports both operational needs and strategic goals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving ability to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyse requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives and can be clearly translated into system specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the design of solutions by analysing business processes, user stories, and requirements, ensuring alignment with the target state architecture and program objectives.
- Develop and maintain high-quality system documentation, including requirements, specifications, and process models, to ensure clarity and traceability across the delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, business analysts, and cyber security specialists to ensure effective communication and shared understanding of requirements and solutions.
- Support agile delivery teams by ensuring requirements and design decisions are clearly communicated, understood, and adhered to throughout development.
What You Will Do As The Senior Operations Analyst
As Senior Operations Analyst in the Data, Delivery & Operations team you will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency and providing effective support for the Digital ID technology solution after deployment. In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining a reliable IT support model, ensuring that users receive timely assistance, technical issues are resolved efficiently, and the overall system operates smoothly.
Key Responsiblities
- Manage and action incoming service requests, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes and in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to system access or functionality.
- Monitor and respond to incidents, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. This will include coordination with development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Effectively analyse and triage technology issues in a timely manner, ensuring clear communication channels throughout the incident process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support model, proposing and implementing changes to streamline support processes.
About You
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
- Relevant skills and demonstrated experience relating to the key responsibilities of this position.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience in documenting technical processes, systems, and requirements clearly and accurately.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud capabilities and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and evolving business needs and demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
The Following Job Specific Criteria Are Also Highly Desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance with AGSVA.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as PRINCE2, TOGAF, ITIL, Microsoft Azure certifications, BPMN 2.0, or Lean Six Sigma, are desirable.

Salary: $102,947 - $115,384 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
