A permanent opportunity has become available for a Rates and Revenue Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive innovation across CN’s rating, revenue and debt management functions.
This opportunity will see you lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality customer service while ensuring the accurate administration and collection of approximately $203 million in rates and charges across more than 72,000 properties. Your previous local government experience, coupled with your strong technical expertise to guide complex rating, valuation and debt management matters will see you well placed for success.
Your leadership will foster a performance-driven culture, providing clarity, accountability and support to your team while managing competing priorities and resources. You will also play a key advisory role, providing expert insights to senior management and Council to inform revenue strategies, long-term financial planning and equitable rating structures.
A key focus of your role will be driving improvements and reform, including leading the review and implementation of debt management strategies, strengthening systems and processes and optimising service delivery through effective contract management. You will also oversee critical compliance and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, transparency and alignment with legislative requirements.
