Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager will lead the development and execution of Water Corporation's enterprise strategy and transformation agenda.

Operating as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, this role carries responsibility for:

  • Setting long-term strategic direction and aligning the organisation against clear enterprise priorities
  • Leading a complex portfolio of programs and major projects, ensuring disciplined execution and benefits realisation
  • Driving operating model evolution to position the organisation for future performance
  • Embedding robust governance, prioritisation, and performance frameworks across the business
  • Influencing decision-making at the highest levels, both internally and across government and key stakeholders.
  • Building and leading a high performing, engaged leadership team aligned to enterprise priorities
  • Championing a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organisation
  • Providing visible and authentic leadership to embed organisational values and drive sustainable change

Anforderungsprofil

The successful candidate will be an established executive with experience operating in large, complex and asset-intensive environments.

You will bring:

  • A proven track record leading enterprise strategy and large-scale transformation
  • Experience delivering major programs and projects from design through to benefits realisation
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to operate across ambiguity and complexity
  • Demonstrated capability influencing at CEO, Board and government stakeholder level
  • A leadership style that fosters trust, alignment, and high performance across diverse and complex teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, build organisational capability, and inspire a shared sense of purpose
  • A commitment to safety, inclusion, and values led leadership
