Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes effectively and efficiently.
- Perform reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation of BAS and other statutory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting function.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Accountant Should Have
- CA/CPA qualification
- Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably within the industrial sector
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience managing/mentoring a team is advantageous
