PERSOL is proud to be partnering with one of Australia's most recognised and respected building products manufacturers to recruit a passionate and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for their Toowoomba team.

This is far more than a traditional customer service role. As the first point of contact for customers, builders, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will play a critical role in creating positive customer experiences while supporting the delivery of iconic products that help shape Australian homes and communities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will become a key member of a collaborative and supportive team, responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders and supporting sales activities across a diverse portfolio of premium building products.

This is a highly varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with customers, sales representatives and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Manage inbound phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Process customer orders, credits, returns and pricing enquiries accurately.

Support the sales team with administrative and customer service activities.

Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted first point of contact.

Maintain a thorough understanding of products, services and business processes.

Assist customers with product information and order-related enquiries.

Ensure customer records and order information are maintained accurately.

Contribute to a positive team culture and high-performing work environment.

Maintain a safe, organised and professional office environment.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales support or a similar role.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

A proactive, positive and solutions-focused attitude.

Experience within the building, construction or manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.

Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
