About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Support Lead to oversee supply support, inventory management, warehousing, codification, cataloguing, and contractor governance activities supporting Defence sustainment operations within the Space Domain Awareness Capability SPO.

The successful candidate will provide leadership across supply governance, ERP management, configuration control, contractor oversight, logistics support analysis, and supply chain assurance to ensure materiel support activities align with CASG and Defence sustainment requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and govern supply support activities across SDACSPO assets.
• Manage inventory, warehousing, distribution, disposal and stocktake activities.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships across Defence and industry.
• Identify and manage supply support risks and issues.
• Review and assure contractor supply support management activities.
• Lead codification and cataloguing activities.
• Establish and maintain ERP Bills of Materials (BoM).
• Support configuration management and baseline control.
• Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), CDRLs and support documentation.
• Support capability transition from acquisition into sustainment.
• Govern technical data entry and maintenance within ERP and logistics systems.
• Conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities to optimise supply processes.
• Support procurement activities as required.
• Maintain compliance with Defence supply support policies and procedures.

To Be Successful

You will demonstrate:

• Strong Defence supply support and sustainment experience.
• Experience managing inventory, warehousing and distribution functions.
• Knowledge of Defence codification and cataloguing processes.
• Experience working with ERP and logistics management systems.
• Understanding of configuration management principles.
• Experience reviewing contractor performance and governance activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks and implement practical supply support solutions.
• Familiarity with CASG sustainment and ILS frameworks.

Desirable Experience

• ERP, Maximo, Windchill or similar logistics systems.
• Defence sustainment, acquisition-to-sustainment transition activities.
• Space, maritime, land or aerospace sustainment environments.
• Experience with FRAR, RPL and Defence logistics documentation.
