About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner plays a pivotal role in attracting high-quality candidates while ensuring that selected talent aligns with the organisation's needs and culture.
- Use your previous professional recruitment experience to source, attract and recruit talent to Council using merit-based recruitment practices.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills to manage a high volume of end-to-end recruitment activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Think outside the box, seeking creative ways to problem-solve and continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Utilise your influencing skills and passion for coaching managers to build talent acquisition capability and promote best-practice recruitment across Council.
- Apply strong due diligence and quality assurance practices to ensure recruitment processes, documentation and pre-employment checks are completed in accordance with legislative, policy and governance requirements.
- Be hands-on in supporting our diverse business areas, balancing strategic talent acquisition with operational delivery.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a proactive individual who can navigate changing environments and develop strategies that align with the Council's objectives.
You will:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or possess equivalent experience in a similar role, preferably within a complex or multidisciplinary organisation.
- Be committed to upholding merit-based recruitment principles and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of recruitment governance, compliance and risk management, with the ability to apply policies, procedures and legislative requirements consistently and accurately.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to managing recruitment processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion of all activities.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels to achieve business and operational outcomes.
- Act as a trusted subject matter expert, providing sound, strategic and compliant recruitment advice to hiring managers.

- Package: $93,854-$99,489 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
