We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Leading Hand/ Foreman to take the lead on a multi level hotel project on the Gold Coast. This role will see you overseeing all electrical works for the duration of the project, from early-stage rough-in through to final fit-off and commissioning.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating labour and materials, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with project managers, builders, and other trades to drive productivity and quality outcomes across the build.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading electrical team onsite
- Coordinating daily site activities and labour allocation
- Overseeing rough-in, fit-off, and commissioning
- Managing installation of cable tray, conduits, wiring, and building services
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
- Liaising with builders, project managers, and other trades
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Monitoring project progress, quality control, and deadlines
- Mentoring electricians and apprentices on site
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Proven experience as a or Leading Hand or Foreman on high-rise or large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of new installation processes in multi-storey builds
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schedules
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver’s Licence
