The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is your opportunity to take full ownership of a brand-new contract at our Kewdale warehouse, setting the pace, driving standards and building a high-performing team from the ground up. You’ll have the rare opportunity to lead a new operation, shape the culture, build the team and make the role your own from day one.
This is a hands-on leadership role where safety, service, people leadership and operational performance are in your hands. You’ll be visible in the operation, leading from the front and creating a culture where accountability, teamwork and customer service thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations
Lead safe loading and unloading of trailers
Coordinate deliveries to customers and other destinations
Lead, mentor and develop warehouse team members
Drive a strong safety-first culture across the operation
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Manage operational performance, productivity and KPIs
Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
Escalate operational, safety or service concerns to management
Ensure equipment servicing and repairs are completed on time
Effectively manage labour, assets and operational resources
Maintain compliance with HS&E, Quality and P&C requirements
Supporting the team with occasional after hours support as required
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded leader who thrives in transport and logistics environments.
Extensive experience in warehouse and logistics operations
Proven leadership and people management capability
Strong understanding of compliance and legislative requirements
Experience managing KPIs and driving operational outcomes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills|
Strong customer focus and commercial awareness
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment
