The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Outage Zero Harm Administrator to support our Energy and Industrial East team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting safety outcomes by assisting the Zero Harm team in delivering the Downer Zero Harm Management Plan across outage projects.
Working closely with the Zero Harm Lead and operational teams, you will provide end to end administrative support for safety systems, reporting, mobilisation and compliance activities. This is a fast paced role where attention to detail, proactive coordination and strong stakeholder engagement are key to success.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the administration and continuous improvement of Zero Harm systems and processes
- Assisting with reporting, metrics, KPIs and safety dashboards
- Coordinating site mobilisation activities including onboarding, PPE issue and inductions
- Maintaining accurate records in systems such as INX and SharePoint
- Supporting incident reporting, investigations and action tracking
- Coordinating safety inspections and Critical Risk programs
- Assisting with injury management processes including return to work coordination Providing general administrative and operational support to the Zero Harm team
What we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented administrator who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about safety and compliance.
You will bring
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a safety or project environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
- A proactive and self driven approach with strong problem solving capability
Desirable
- Experience working on power station outages or within heavy industry
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or Return to Work Coordination training Construction White Card
