Junior Account Coordinator

News Corp Australia

What's the role?

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Junior Account Coordinator to join our talented team at Suddenly—one of Australia’s most successful Content Marketing Agencies.

The Junior Account Coordinator is a vital support role ensuring the smooth delivery of cross-platform projects for key Suddenly clients. Reporting to the Content Director, this role assists in day-to-day account management, tracking project deliverables, organising production and team logistics, and facilitating clear communication between internal teams and external clients.

As an entry-level professional, you will manage essential administrative tasks like invoice and supplier management, project and financial reconciliation, triaging client briefs and managing travel bookings. This role is ideal for a highly organised, proactive individual looking to build a successful career in agency account management.

Responsibilities

You will be hands-on in day-to-day tasks that keep our projects on track and our teams connected, spanning across:

  • Account Support & Finance: Generate supplier Purchase Orders (POs), track contributor invoices accurately, and manage shared inboxes, correspondence, and magazine mail-outs.
  • Workflow Tracking & Logistics: Maintain project tracking boards for clear workflow visibility, and coordinate smooth travel bookings for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and project teams.
  • Project & Production Coordination: Assist with photoshoot logistics (sourcing quotes, booking talent, catering, run sheets), traffic client feedback to creative teams, and support competition management.
  • Client & Brief Management: Triage incoming client briefs to ensure all assets are captured before creative kickoff, act as a reliable point of contact for daily queries, and draft WIP agendas.

Who are you?

  • 1–2 years of experience in an agency, media, or marketing administration role.
  • Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in production logistics.
  • A basic understanding of cross-platform campaign delivery across print, digital, and social media.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a natural ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive team player eager to take initiative, support colleagues, and adapt to changing client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com, Trello) and basic financial systems for raising POs is highly desirable.
