About the role

We’re seeking an experience d Snr Functional & Technical Analyst D365 - Financ e to join our IT Applications team and lead the delivery of D365 Finance projects, enhancements and support for our Finance function. This role will be based at our head office in Norwest with regular travel to our manufacturing site at Orchard Hills

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading the process and system changes required in Dynamics 365 F&O, to streamline workflows and meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop critical project artifacts, including Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), Functional Design Documents (FDD), technical requirements and process flows.
  • Reduce the reliance on legacy systems, manual and XLS based processes by leveraging more Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations functionality.
  • Conduct Dynamics F&O working sessions with stakeholders to define requirements, demonstrate system capabilities, data migration and reporting to meet business requirements.
  • Partner with Finance, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless, optimised and compliant end-to-end data flows and reporting.
  • Develop, execute and lead unit, system and user testing as required to implement changes into production.
  • Support Finance users including production problems, incidents and change requests i.e. manage and resolve open tickets in your support queue.
  • Follow ITIL processes and methodologies for approval and migration of changes to production.
  • Work with vendors to provide support and upgrade information.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft D365 Finance modules, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Deliver Finance related D365 projects and enhancements on budget and aligned to business goals.
  • Work closely with Finance leaders to ensure solutions meet operational and compliance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across business functions and positively influence best-practice solution design.
  • Ensure compliance with broader IT strategy and architecture

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Proven experience as a Senior BA – Finance, ideally within FMCG.
  • Excellent Dynamics 365 and business process knowledge in Finance and Operations – able to configure modules and integrate to other legacy applications.
  • Solution knowledge of Dynamics 365, SQL data base and integration technologies.
  • Ability to research and facilitate D365 application solutions to meet business requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance and security related to D365 applications.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare business cases, estimates and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical, commercial and systems-thinking capability.
  • Accounting and financial management education or experience an advantage.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities across functions with conflicting requirements
  • Knowledge of high-volume transaction and billing systems is an advantage
