What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking a customer-focused and highly organised library professional to coordinate Inter Library Loans and resource sharing services within our Libraries team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong administrative skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting access to information and community resources.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Coordinate Inter Library Loans (ILL) services, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant resource sharing
- Manage ILL issue resolution and financial processes, including payments, purchase orders and invoice reconciliation
- Process customer requests for resources through research, loans and purchases across library systems and suppliers
- Provide advice and insights on ILL activity, trends and collection use to support planning
- Support library operations including cataloguing, collections maintenance, customer service and compliance activities

What You’ll Need For Success
- Working with Children Blue Card or the ability to obtain
- Valid class C or CA driver licence (provisional or open) to drive a vehicle in Queensland
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Inter Library Loan processes and practices in a public library environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in cataloguing principles and original cataloguing
What’s Nice To Have
- Diploma (AQF Level 5) of Library and Information Science
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Library Management Systems in a public library context, including data management and reporting
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting library related technologies.
