We’re looking for a confident and people-first Duty Manager to help lead the daily rhythm of the hotel. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, leads with calm energy, and knows how to turn service into something memorable.

You’ll be the face of the hotel during your shift — supporting teams across Front Office, Food & Beverage and Guest Experience while ensuring every guest interaction feels warm, seamless and distinctly ANdAZ Gold Coast.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily hotel operations across guest-facing departments
• Support, coach and motivate teams to deliver exceptional service
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with confidence and care
• Maintain operational standards, presentation and safety across the property
• Work closely with department leaders to ensure smooth communication and service flow
• Create genuine connections with guests and elevate the everyday guest experience
• Support VIP arrivals, special events and high-occupancy periods

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Previous leadership experience in hotels, hospitality or lifestyle venues
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A passion for people, service and creating memorable experiences
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge of Opera or similar hotel systems is highly regarded
• Must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
