Position Overview
As the Psychologist, you will support participants across a diverse caseload, providing assessment and therapeutic intervention tailored to individual goals. You will work closely with participants, families and multidisciplinary team members to deliver evidence-based strategies that enhance emotional wellbeing, behavioural outcomes and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients across the lifespan
- Complete psychological and behavioural assessments
- Develop and implement tailored, person-centred intervention plans
- Provide support for participants with disability, including complex needs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Deliver strategies to families, carers and support staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports (NDIS aligned)
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
Qualifications
- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Experience working within disability, community or NDIS settings (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice
