IPAR are seeking individuals with a professional background in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Morwell!

We are open to this role in a Full Time or Part Time 4 days per week capacity.

Some of your day to day includes:

  • Manage a varied caseload, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants to help reduce administrative workload

  • Apply your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes and collaborate with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention initiatives and workplace education programs

  • Work closely with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across a range of schemes, including workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare and DVA

  • Conduct a variety of assessments using your discipline-specific skills, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments

  • Support individuals with injury or health conditions to achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes

  • Develop and implement tailored Return to Work plans

Qualifications

Our new team member will have:

  • A qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Provisional (Psychologists) or Full Professional Registration with AHPRA, Full ESSA EP Accreditation or Full ASORC Membership
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
  • Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use their initiative and achieve results
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
  • Energy and drive to grow our services
  • A current drivers' license and access to their own vehicle
