As a MECC Cleaner, you’ll help maintain high cleaning standards across venues such as The MECC & BB Print Stadium.

Working to a roster, you’ll deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services while upholding workplace health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to work on a rostered and on-call basis at short notice
  • Undertake cleaning duties in line with rosters and cleaning specifications
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness across the MECC
  • Follow all WH&S procedures and safe work practices
  • Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times

About You

Essential

  • Current Working with Children (Blue Card)
  • QLD “C” Class Driver Licence
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Able to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending and carrying
  • Solid understanding of safe work practices and cleaning processes
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment
  • Experience using commercial cleaning equipment
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people
