About the Business Unit

This role sits in the Workforce & Prison Services team - a team of technical professionals responsible for providing the project team and, once open, the prison with corporate and customer services support including administration, commercial and logistics support, human resources, integrated perform..ance systems, prisoner ancillary services, technology, workforce development, and workforce planning.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Workforce Analysis and Insights you will be a key contributor to delivering on the operational development, commissioning and ramp up of a new correctional facility by providing expert advice and support relating to workforce planning activities for the prison.

About the Role

The Workforce Analysis and Insights Officer is responsible for providing administrative support and expert advice in relation to the prison's workforce capacity and capability to meet its objectives now and into the future.

Some of your duties will include

  • Work in partnership with the project team through the development, commissioning and operational phases of establishing the new facility.
  • Analyse, report and present on a range of workforce planning data to inform.. continuous improvement and influence decision making.
  • Use business intelligence to determine implications for demand of prison services.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Data analysis skills (including demand modelling and trend analysis).
  • Experience in providing corporate support services in government or large private sector organisations.
  • Experience working with the full range of Microsoft Windows and MS Office application suite software would be desirable.
