Global Wealth Manager in Sydney looking for an investment professional as part of a KYC data project.

Global financial services market leader in Wealth Management and financial markets. The role is within the Wealth Management department, which services individuals, families and institutions.

Your new role

This position is responsible for ensuring Know Your Client (KYC) documentation is maintained throughout the client life cycle in accordance with the firm’s global standards and any additional local regulatory requirements. This role supports in reviewing client system access requests, ongoing maintenance and data remediation activities, and troubleshooting support.

  • Review and process client system access requests and perform data consistency checks across firm client data systems.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are followed and operational processes are completed in compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Financial Advisors and Client Service Managers in addressing system-related queries and taking ownership of troubleshooting issues.
  • Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement. Support user acceptance testing to facilitate the rollout of enhancements.
  • Assist in defining local requirements, documenting procedure updates, and facilitating platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Australia and Asia on processes and project coordination.
  • Support the maintenance of project plans and governance activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, e.g. Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance or similar
  • 2+ years' professional experience in the banking sector is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of KYC requirements in Australia
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with experience liaising with financial advisers, client service teams, and senior management
