Be the calm in someone’s storm, where your work genuinely supports Queenslanders when they need it most. As a Claims Management Officer, you’ll take ownership of property claims from lodgement through to resolution, while delivering empathetic, efficient support. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role combining inbound and outbound calls with case management and processing. Commencing on 27 July with 8 weeks of full-time training (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm) at our Eight Mile Plains office. After training, you’ll transition into a rotating roster with either Monday–Friday (no weekends) or Tuesday–Saturday shifts, requiring full availability between 7:00am–7:15pm on weekdays and 8:30am–5:30pm on weekends where applicable. After training and you are competent in the role, you can begin working from home, hybrid requirements are currently a minimum of one day per week in the office. This is a permanent full-time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane).
What You'll Do
- Assist our customers with empathy and kindness, providing support and advice
- Manage claims end-to-end, handling calls professionally and making accurate decisions.
- Discuss and negotiate settlement options clearly and honestly with stakeholders.
- Apply Product Disclosure Statements and process documentation to ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance
- Participate in coaching and training to build your and your team’s capabilities
