About The Role

Join a Core Data Platforms team focused on building scalable, cloud-based solutions that support enterprise data capabilities. You will contribute to platform engineering across AWS environments, applying DevOps practices and automation. This role offers exposure to emerging technologies, including Databricks, while working closely with a collaborative and delivery-focused team.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver cloud platform solutions that align to long-term architecture and support scalable, resilient systems.
• Develop and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to enable efficient, repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, ensuring performance and reliability across services.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve cost, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver platform initiatives using agile approaches.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and supporting team capability uplift.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience in a Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer role, delivering cloud-based solutions at scale.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS including infrastructure and service design.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage environments.
• Experience deploying and managing containerised applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting capability in Python, applied to automation and platform engineering tasks.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation frameworks.
