Graduate of Architecture / Architect

B. Architects is a dynamic Sydney-based architectural practice delivering bespoke design solutions across commercial, residential, education, infrastructure and inclusive design projects. We are seeking an Experienced Graduate of Architecture and Architect to join our growing team and contribute across all project stages, from concept design and planning approvals through to detailed documentation and project delivery. Working closely with directors, clients and a broad network of consultants, you will help develop innovative and tailored design outcomes while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities (Experienced Graduate of Architecture)

• Assist in the design, documentation and delivery of projects across commercial, residential, education, infrastructure and inclusive design sectors.
• Prepare DA, CC and CDC packages.
• Produce high-quality drawings, presentations and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, certifiers and relevant authorities.
• Participate in client meetings, design workshops and project coordination meetings.
• Support project delivery while maintaining strong design and technical standards

Skills and Experience (Experienced Graduate of Architecture)

• Degree and Master's qualification in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in Archicad.
• Strong understanding of Australian building regulations, planning processes and construction methodologies.
• Strong design, documentation and detailing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach

Key responsibilities (Architect)

• Lead the design, coordination and delivery of projects across commercial, residential, education, infrastructure and inclusive design sectors.
• Prepare, review and coordinate DA, CC and CDC packages.
• Produce high-quality drawings, presentations and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, certifiers and relevant authorities.
• Lead client meetings, design workshops and project coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong design, technical and documentation standards throughout project delivery.
• Review design and construction documentation to ensure compliance with relevant planning controls, codes and standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Skills and Experience (Architect)

• Degree and Master's qualification in Architecture.
• 6+ years of professional experience in an architectural practice.
• Registered Architect or actively pursuing registration preferred.
• Proficiency in Archicad.
• Strong understanding of Australian building regulations, planning processes and construction methodologies.
• Strong design, documentation and detailing skills.
• Demonstrated experience in consultant coordination and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach.
