Your Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and practical Operations Supervisor to oversee a high-volume administration and compliance function within Education Delivery Support (EDS) at our Bracken Ridge campus.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

In this role, you’ll lead a team that sits at the centre of training delivery, making sure systems, processes and reporting run smoothly so our delivery teams can focus on students.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll set direction, manage workflow, resolve issues, and ensure the team delivers accurate, timely and compliant outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and support a team of EDS Officers, providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day supervision
  • Manage workflow and priorities across a high-volume administrative function, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met
  • Oversee the accuracy and quality of data, reporting and documentation
  • Ensure the team operates in line with required compliance and reporting standards (including AVETMISS and other regulatory requirements)
  • Work closely with delivery teams, managers and external partners to resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly
  • Act as a key point of escalation for complex or sensitive matters, including complaints
  • Identify process improvements and implement practical changes to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor performance and use data and reporting to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement

  • Proven experience leading a team in a busy administrative, operational or compliance-focused environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and high volumes of work
  • Confidence working with systems, data and reporting, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and take a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive and hands-on leadership style, someone who is comfortable being involved in the day-to-day while also improving how the team operates

How You Will Be Assessed

The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

  • Operational leadership

Ability to lead and manage a high-volume administrative function, including setting priorities, allocating work, monitoring performance, and using data and reporting to inform decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Systems, compliance and attention to detail

Experience working with systems, processes and reporting in a compliance-focused environment, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and apply relevant policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant outcomes.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making

Strong ability to identify issues, manage competing priorities, and implement practical solutions to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Communication and stakeholder engagement

Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, including team members, managers and external partners.

  • People leadership

Proven ability to lead and support a team, including providing direction, coaching, and fostering a positive and accountable team environment.
