About the Team
The Digital and Campus Services (DCS) team is a central, enterprise-facing function at Victoria University, bringing together digital, technology and campus services to support the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the University. The team is collaborative, and focused on delivering customer-centric services, working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to keep priorities moving and operations running smoothly.
About the Role
This role provides high-level project, coordination and executive support to the Chief Digital Officer and Executive Director Campus Services, and their leadership team. You’ll play a key role in keeping priorities on track—supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives, managing workflows and competing demands, and ensuring strong administrative and operational processes are in place. It’s a varied and fast-paced role that requires strong organisation, sound judgement and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes and keep the function running smoothly.
Position Key Duties
Examples of the key duties associated with the role:
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Digital Officer and Executive Director Campus Services, ensuring priorities are effectively managed
- Coordinate and support the delivery of strategic projects and initiatives across the Digital and Campus Services portfolio
- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, presentations and correspondence to support decision-making
- Manage workflows, calendars and competing priorities for the leadership team, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are met
- Support planning, resource coordination and tracking of portfolio activities to ensure smooth operational delivery
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
- Engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration and effective communication
- Provide data and reporting support to inform insights and continuous improvement
Position Details
- Classification: HEP 7
- Salary: $101,288 - $109,639 - Plus 17% Super
- Employment Type: Full Time – 3 Month Fixed Term
- Hours per Week: 36.75/1 FTE
- Location: Footscray Park Campus – 4 days on site, with flexibility for a 5th day, depending on stakeholder requirements - open to discussion during interview

About You
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience providing project coordination and/or executive support at a senior level
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written capability, with experience preparing briefings, reports and presentations
- Able to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, quality and meeting deadlines
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across teams and functions
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, streamline workflows and support continuous improvement
