Civil Plant Operators

Silverstrand is seeking multiple experienced

Plant Operators to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.

Multiple Locations - Caboolture, Brisbane, Gold Coast & Ipswich.

Multiple Roles - Excavator Operators, HR Drivers, Roller Operators.

Operating 14T - 38T Machines, Final Trim works, GPS use (Topcon/ Trimble), Benching/ shoring, Loading/ unloading trucks, Bulk earthworks, Trenching, etc.

This Role Is Responsible For (but Not Limited To)

• Excavator Operations - trench work, back filling, GPS and final trim work
• HR Operations - Hauling, Tipper work, Watercart, Labouring, etc
• Roller Operations - Roller + Labouring.
• Ability to work directly from plans
• Safely dogging suspended loads accurately
• Rigging and securing loads for excavator placements
• Working safely around high-risk machinery
• General labouring and trade assistant work as required
• Ability to read and understand plans
• Ensuring compliance with site safety & environmental requirements

Skills/Experience required

• Excavator/ Roller RII Ticket
• Construction Induction White Card
• Minimum 5 years proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects
• Other machine tickets desirable - (HR, Skid steer, Roller, etc)
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
