Change Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Change Analyst to support a range of ICT and digital transformation initiatives within a complex public sector environment. This is a 7-month contract with a possible 6-month extension, based in Brisbane, with hybrid working available.

About the role

As the Change Analyst, you will work closely with project teams, business units and senior stakeholders to coordinate change, communication, training and engagement activities that support the successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working. This role would suit someone who is confident working across complex organisational change, enjoys partnering with both technical and business teams, and can translate system or process changes into clear, practical messaging for end users.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and supporting change management strategies and plans for ICT and digital projects
  • Preparing change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness reporting and communication plans
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement across senior leaders, project teams and frontline users
  • Developing communication, engagement and training materials to support user adoption
  • Coordinating and delivering workshops, awareness sessions and training activities
  • Identifying potential resistance and supporting mitigation strategies
  • Monitoring change readiness, adoption and benefits realisation
  • Contributing to project governance documentation, including change plans, stakeholder logs and lessons learned

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering organisational change across complex ICT or digital transformation projects
  • Strong experience developing and delivering change, communication and training strategies
  • Experience supporting system implementations, digital projects or information management initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work with executives, project teams and end users
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing high-quality change documentation, reports, briefings and presentations
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
