Star Phones is one of Australia's leading mobile phone repair and accessories retailers, with 55+ retail locations across the country. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Admin & Purchasing Officer to join our growing support office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone starting their career in administration, purchasing, or supply chain operations.

About the Role

As a Junior Admin & Purchasing Officer, you will support the day-to-day purchasing and inventory operations of the business. You will work closely with our Senior Admin and alongside other team of admins to ensure our stores are stocked with the repair parts and phone accessories they need to operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Place orders for mobile phone repair parts and accessories from suppliers.

• Track and monitor purchase orders from placement through to delivery.

• Check and process delivery notes and supplier invoices.

• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and received stock.

• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and purchasing records.

• Monitor stock levels across retail outlets.

• Assist with stock takes and inventory audits.

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and retail stores regarding orders and deliveries.

• Support the administration team with general office and reporting tasks.

About You

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or relevant qualification.

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn purchasing, inventory, and administrative processes.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
