Your new role
Targeted Care Packages (TCPs) are an allocation of funding attached to a specific child or young person which are used to prevent the child or young people from entering residential care, or transition from residential care into an alternate living arrangement that better meets their needs.
As a Key Worker you will provide individualised and flexible case management support to children and young people who present with challenging behaviours and are supported by a TCP. You will be supporting children, young people and their carers across a range of individualised placement options including foster care, kinship care, lead tenant, independent living or within the family home.

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
- Essential: Relevant tertiary qualification/currently enrolled in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- An understanding of the inter-generational factors and complex inter-relationships between extended family members that can promote and impede their capacity to collaboratively provide good care of a child/young person
