About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to support the performance, compliance and maintenance of a unique and diverse portfolio within Perth's CBD.
Working closely with operational teams, contractors and client stakeholders, you will provide technical oversight across building services, asset maintenance, compliance activities and infrastructure improvement initiatives. This is a predominantly field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys being active, solving technical challenges and working collaboratively with others.
Approximately 75% field-based and 25% office-based.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support across mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic and building systems.
- Support asset lifecycle planning, compliance and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Investigate building faults and provide practical recommendations.
- Oversee contractor performance and site works.
- Support emergency response and after-hours building incidents when required.
- Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues.
Essential
Skills & Experience
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and major building plant.
- Exposure to mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services.
- Knowledge of maintenance-related legislative and statutory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly during building faults or incidents.
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours emergency response.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Facilities Management experience.
- Exposure to security systems and associated infrastructure.
- Practical maintenance experience using hand tools.
- Experience within highly regulated environments.
