PMO - Regional Lead

RSGx

The Company RSGx is a specialist engineering, construction, and maintenance contractor delivering complex projects across the energy, utilities, and mining sectors. With a strong and growing presence in Western Australia, we are embedded in the infrastructure; from transmission and distribution networks to large-scale mining and resources projects.

We are not a generalist contractor. Our people are technical, commercially sharp, and proud of the work they deliver.

The Opportunity This is a role for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to transition from site-based delivery into a senior leadership position that shapes how projects are governed, reported, and delivered across our Western Region.

As PMO Lead, you will be the operational backbone of our WA project portfolio. The PMO function at RSGx is critical; from facilitating project handovers and internal kick-offs, through to the setup and configuration of project controls and reporting mechanisms from day one. You will own that process and set the standard.

RSGx PMO is forward-thinking in its use of technology. We are embedded in platforms like Procore, Breadcrumb, Openspace, and Aphex, and we are actively building on that architecture. We are looking for someone who is progressive in their thinking; not just a user of these tools, but a champion who can drive adoption and embed smarter ways of working across our project teams.

If you have spent your career delivering electrical, utilities, or EPC projects and you are now looking for a role that leverages that experience at a strategic level; without losing touch with delivery; this is it.

What You Will Do

  • Lead regional PMO governance, reporting frameworks, and compliance standards
  • Own project handover, internal kick-off, and the setup of project controls and reporting mechanisms
  • Champion the use of platforms including Procore, Breadcrumb, Openspace, and Aphex; and drive their consistent adoption across the portfolio
  • Oversee cost, schedule, risk, and performance reporting across the WA portfolio
  • Undertake major proposal reviews and facilitate the full process from project award through to delivery readiness
  • Mentor PMO Engineers and embed consistent delivery standards across site teams
  • Drive continuous improvement, project close-out, and lessons-learned processes

About You You are a seasoned Project Manager from the electrical, utilities, or EPC contracting space; someone who has delivered on the ground and now wants to apply that experience from the office. You understand what good project governance looks like.

This is not a role for someone who manages from a distance. We are looking for a leader who leads by example; someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done right. Whether that means jumping into a cost report, configuring a project dashboard, or sitting alongside a junior engineer to show them the standard, you set the benchmark through your actions, not just your instructions. If you expect it of your team, you are prepared to do it yourself.

You are also someone who gets excited by technology, not overwhelmed by it. You see platforms like Procore, Aphex, and AI-driven project tools as a genuine competitive advantage; and you have the drive to bring your team along with you.

Specifically, You Bring

  • A strong track record in electrical, power, transmission/distribution, or EPC project delivery
  • Experience with Tier-1 or specialist contractors; you know how complex projects actually run
  • Familiarity with modern project management platforms and a progressive mindset toward technology adoption
  • Commercial acumen across cost management, contract administration, and risk
  • Necessary planning and programming skills.
  • The credibility to influence site teams and the communication skills to brief senior stakeholders.
  • A hands-on leadership style; you demonstrate what good looks like, you do not just describe it

What We Offer

  • A genuine transition into a senior, office-based leadership role; with the respect that comes from having delivered
  • Long-term stability and growth in Western Australia; expanding energy and resources market
  • Competitive remuneration package; commensurate with experience
  • A high-performance team culture built on technical credibility and mutual accountability
  • A seat at the table as RSGx scales its WA operations
