About The Role

The Digital Marketing Manager position is a newly created role within the Brand & Marketing function at Urban Rest. Positioned at manager level, this role reflects the breadth of responsibility it carries and the commercial opportunity it presents. We’re looking for a commercially minded digital marketer with 2+ years of hands-on experience across paid digital channels, CRM, and digital communications. Key projects within the first 12 months will include bringing execution of our performance marketing in-house and overseeing the rollout of an updated global communications journey. The successful candidate will have proven experience working to cost-per-sale targets across multiple campaigns and be able to demonstrate their ability to distill industry insights into paid campaigns that drive ecommerce consideration and conversion. You will be naturally curious, with an active interest in AI trends and knowledge around AI implementation best practice to optimise commercial outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Urban Rest’s paid search and paid social strategy, including budget administration and campaign optimisation, across our four global regions (Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom).
  • Administer the performance marketing budget month-to-month, managing campaign bidding strategies, targeting, and testing to maximise return on ads spend and drive direct bookings.
  • Oversee the SEO & GEO strategy for the Urban Rest website, developing content that drives visibility across these channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with web and product teams to implement winning test variants and surface performance insights that drive commercial outcomes.
  • Embed AI workflows and agents into existing systems to optimise and streamline performance outcomes.
  • Establish a consistent performance reporting cadence across paid, CRM, and website channels, maintaining dashboards and attribution models that give clear visibility of ROI.
  • Assist with design and execution of guest facing digital communications, including functional communications for Urban Rest’s a digital check-in solution to reduce first-arrival queries.
  • Assist with the rollout of a B2B loyalty program, developing robust digital strategy to actively grow a database of small to medium enterprise businesses (SEMs).
  • Maintain database hygiene and segmentation, grow the subscriber base through targeted acquisition and opt-in strategies, and ensure CRM reporting is accurate and actionable.
  • Prepare and present performance updates and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Stay across industry best practices and emerging trends in paid media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimisation to keep Urban Rest ahead of the curve.

Previous Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with proven experience managing paid channels and CRM
  • Demonstrated experience running campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google My Business.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and paid platform reporting
  • Experience with HTML email editors will be highly advantageous
  • Exposure to multi-market or international campaigns is an advantage
  • Exposure to or experience implementing AI agents or workflows is an advantage
