The role
Required
As a Painter within the Building Maintenance team, you will play an important role in maintaining councils-built assets and will be required to undertake the below duties:
- Internal/External Painting
- Graffiti Removal
- Pressure Cleaning
- Sandblasting
- Minor Gyprock Repair
- Plastering
- Flushing
- Maintenance and repair to furniture, buildings and structures
All tasks will be undertaken with the efficient, safe and effective operation of plant and equipment used in association with those duties.
Specialist Skills, Required Knowledge And Conditions
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Trade level certificate in Cert 3 trade qualification Painting and Decorating or similar
- Technical competency and knowledge in a wide range of painting services
- An ability to understand and accept changes in the workplace and to respond to the processes of change management
