About the role

Packforce is a purpose-driven commercial packing and production business powered by Cerebral Palsy Alliance. As Operations Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day management of our Frenchs Forest operation. Leading a team of Disability Support Practitioners that support up to 90 employees with disability to safely and successfully complete production projects while ensuring exceptional service delivery for our commercial customers.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you will coordinate production schedules, oversee warehouse operations, manage inventory and logistics, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for developing, coaching and supervising the Disability Support Practitioner team, fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture focused on inclusion, quality and continuous improvement.

This role combines operational leadership with social impact. This role is based in Frenchs Forest, NSW.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Partnering with the Site Manager to develop and execute production schedules that meet customer requirements, contractual obligations and operational targets.
  • Supervising daily warehouse, production and transport activities to ensure efficient workflow and resource utilisation.
  • Monitoring operational performance, identifying risks, resolving issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading, coaching and supporting a team of Disability Support Practitioners to build capability, drive engagement and ensure best-practice support is provided to employees with disability.
  • Managing inventory, stock control and warehouse systems to maintain accurate records and efficient operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, quality standards and organisational policies.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with commercial customers, providing regular updates on job progress, timelines and service delivery outcomes.
  • Supporting workforce planning and operational decision-making to ensure resources are effectively allocated across multiple projects.

About you

You are an organised and hands-on leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with people leadership. You have strong problem-solving skills, thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about helping others succeed.

You will bring:

  • Experience leading and developing teams within a warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, production or similar operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with customers and internal teams.
  • Sound computer literacy and experience using warehouse, inventory or production management systems.
  • Experience in disability support, community services or employment services is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion and empowering people with disability to achieve their employment goals.

Licenses/certifications required

  • NSW Driver's License (minimum P2)
  • Current Forklift License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check & First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role)
