Role Description/Criteria

At St Columba’s College, we are committed to forming young women who act with compassion, integrity, and a strong sense of social justice. Our Justice and Youth Ministry programs are central to College life, supporting student wellbeing, faith formation, service learning, and community engagement. We are seeking an enthusiastic and values-driven AFL SportsReady Trainee – Justice and Youth Ministry to support the delivery of justice initiatives and youth ministry programs while completing a nationally recognised traineeship qualification. This role is ideal for someone interested in ministry, community services, education, or youth work. As a Justice and Youth Ministry Trainee, you will:

  • Support the planning and delivery of justice, service, and youth ministry programs
  • Assist with liturgies, retreats, reflection days, and community service activities
  • Support student leadership and social justice initiatives
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to the Justice and Youth Ministry team
  • Assist with excursions, events, and partnerships with community organisations
  • Develop workplace skills while completing your traineeship qualification

We are looking for:

  • A genuine interest in justice, youth ministry, or community service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and engage in a school environment
