We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive who will play a key role in sparking new opportunities and helping to open the door for our Sales Managers. As the first point of contact for many of our potential clients, you’ll be a vital part of driving our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • You will think creatively and strategically to discover and connect with new business prospects, acting as the bridge between their needs and our solutions
  • Using outside-the-box thinking, you will help develop smart, tailored strategies to reach ideal customers in new and fresh ways
  • You will generate your own leads, with help from our in-house research team and build a strong pipeline using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo
  • Working to targets, you will make thoughtful use of the phone, to hold meaningful conversations that spark interest, uncover needs, and open the door for our Sales Managers
  • You will collaborate with the Sales Team to plan and refine your approach, always looking for fresh ways to get through to the right people at the right time
  • You will build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, keeping up to date with potential review dates, and uncover any pains they may be facing
  • You will keep the team informed with insights from your conversations – like competitor activity and industry trends
  • From time to time, you’ll represent Gray Dawes at industry events, helping to grow our visibility and connect with prospects face-to-face

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or a similar role with a structured approach to sales outreach and qualification.
  • Experience of working within a sales-driven, target-based environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting targets

  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous environment, both independently and working well as part of a team.

  • A curious and creative approach to problem-solving – always looking for new, strategic ways to engage the right audience.
