Remuneration: Band 4 salary from $ 78,402.48per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement
About the role
As a member of the Building Services team, this position provides administrative and customer support to assist the efficient delivery of Council’s building services functions.
Reporting to the Coordinator Building Services, you will support the preparation of permits, notices, correspondence and records while providing professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
This role sits within the Planning, Building and Health Directorate and works collaboratively within a fast-paced and customer-focused team environment.
Utilising your strong administration, communication and organisational skills will be pivotal to your success in managing competing priorities and delivering accurate and timely support services.
What your day will look like
- Providing professional customer service via phone, email and front counter enquiries
- Preparing correspondence, permits, notices and reports
- Maintaining registers, records and administrative systems
- Assisting with data entry, reporting and document management processes
- Supporting the wider Building Services team with day-to-day administrative functions
What you will bring
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and software quickly
