Due to continued growth within our firm, we are on the lookout for experienced Family Lawyers with a minimum 3 years PAE to join our team. Opportunities are available across our Ipswich, North Lakes, Brisbane or Toowoomba offices. Working closely with a team of experienced family lawyers and dedicated support staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal services to clients across all areas of family law, including domestic and family violence law and child protection.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our legal team, you will come with your current practicing certificate and be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and representation in family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, Domestic Violence (Queensland Court), Child Protection (Queensland Courts) and divorce
  • Managing a varied caseload with a strong focus on achieving practical, client-focused outcomes
  • Building and maintaining trusted client relationships through clear, compassionate communication
  • Drafting high-quality legal documents, including court materials, agreements, and correspondence
  • Appearing in court in a solicitor advocate capacity and liaise effectively with counsel, mediators, and other professionals
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment while supporting business development and ongoing professional growth

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. To be successful for this position you will:

  • Be consistent, structured, and responsive – you take pride in what you do, and you do it well.
  • Have proven post admission experience as a family lawyer, minimum 3 years, and a current Queensland Law Society practicing certificate.
  • Have a desire to nurture and provide support to clients, demonstrated by your ability to communicate effectively and sensitively to provide a sense of reassurance and confidence.
  • Possess a collaborative and innovative attitude and demonstrate initiative in all that you do.
  • Has the ability to build, maintain and engage with their own established trusted professional network
