We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Lead Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major mining infrastructure portfolio within a client-side project environment.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys coordinating complex project interfaces, managing Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), and driving structured project delivery outcomes across active mining operations.

The Opportunity

Working within a client-side integrator model, you will support the safe and effective delivery of sustaining and brownfield capital works across a large-scale mining operation. You will play a key role in managing project governance, stakeholder coordination, contractor performance, and delivery execution across multiple concurrent projects.

This is a hands-on project delivery role requiring strong communication, technical coordination, and governance capability within an operational mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery activities across mining infrastructure scopes
• Coordinate Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), contractors, and site stakeholders
• Drive project governance, reporting, scheduling, and cost management activities
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with approved standards and procedures
• Support planning, execution, commissioning, and handover activities
• Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams
• Maintain focus on delivery outcomes across safety, cost, schedule, and quality

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

• Experience delivering mining infrastructure or sustaining capital projects
• Previous exposure working within a client-side delivery environment
• Strong understanding of project governance and reporting frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and delivery interfaces simultaneously
• Experience coordinating contractors and Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)
• Underground mining project exposure highly regarded
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capability
• Commitment to safe project execution and operational integration

• Flights from Perth, Brisbane, or Darwin
• Initial 6 month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension
• Competitive hourly rate (market aligned)
• Paid Weekly
