Public Sector People (PSP) is currently looking for a junior Communications professional or recent graduate who would be interested in a 3 month contract to join a Sydney based local council.

  • Immediate State
  • Sydney metro
  • 6 month contract
  • $35 - $40 p/h + Super
  • 35 hrs per week Monday - Friday
  • Experience in within a support role in Marketing & Communications

This role is to help support the Communications team with the delivery of Council communications by creating clear, engaging and accessible content across digital channels.

Do You Have

  • Degree in communications, media, marketing or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, plain English content
  • Demonstrated ability to create social media content using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and follow processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respond to feedback
